DOCTORS: DO YOUR PATIENT FILES TAKE UP TOO MUCH OF YOUR VALUABLE OFFICE SPACE?

Data archiving has long been an issue for doctors and medical practitioners. Modern medical record retention standards and data privacy regulations have only added to this challenge. While larger hospitals are able to afford sophisticated data management systems, more modest medical practices might still rely on paper-based systems. Of course, physically storing files takes up valuable physical office space and exposes you to the risk of data loss.

Scan2Archive offers an end-to-end document scanning process that will digitise your patient files and return valuable space. Instead of storing files in massive filing cabinets or compactus, you can choose to store your digital files either on-site, off-site, or in the cloud. Scan2Archive makes it easy for you by taking care of the whole process. We start by packing up the files and transporting them to our facility. Our scanning process is fast, and if you urgently need a document while we are processing them, we offer a complimentary Scan-on-Demand one-hour scanning service providing a scanned copy on request. Once your project is complete, we will provide the scanned files following your naming convention on USB media. You can either choose to have your patient files returned or securely destroyed. Your hard copies will be held in our secure storage facility for six weeks, at which time we will make contact and request permission to securely destroy. Our confidentiality policies and procedures guarantee privacy and security for your patients.

Digitising your files also provides a number of benefits for your practice. You can save on time that your staff would need otherwise to file and retrieve documents. Creating a reliable backup process can also mitigate the risk that valuable patient medical data could be destroyed by unforeseen events such as a fire, computer virus, or even simple employee error. If you think your practice can take advantage of these benefits, then contact Scan2Archive. We can discuss your digital filing strategy and help you choose which options can save your practise time and money.
