PATIENT RECORDS DIGITISATION FOR A LARGE MEDICAL PRACTICE
MOVING YEARS OF PATIENT RECORDS TO A SECURE ONLINE SYSTEM
Large Medical Practice had 30 years of patient records spread across shelving units and filing cabinet drawers and was upgrading to a new online system. During consultations patients still needed their history on hand throughout the move, not just once digitisation was finished.
Moving three decades of records off site is not something a medical practice can afford to get wrong. Files were scattered across shelving and cabinets, and the practice needed a provider who could manage the physical move, keep track of every record, and still pull up any patient’s file the moment it was needed.
1. 30 years of patient records spread across shelving units and filing cabinet drawers.
2. Producing any individual patient file on request, at any point during the project.
3. Packing and transporting a large volume of records while the practice kept running as normal.
4. Keeping records secure and accounted for while in an external provider’s care.
Scan2Archive supplied boxes, packed the records onsite and transported the full archive to its facility, certified to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Management.
Large Medical Practice made the switch to its new online system with 30 years of patient records digitised, searchable, and never out of reach along the way.
